Process related to Casting
We supply sand-cast housings, manifolds, machine bases and other components that benefit from molded contours or internal cavities. We coordinate the mold and core route around the drawing, material, part geometry and required finish. Partner-network options include resin-bonded, coated-sand, shell and automated sand molding, as well as 3D-printed sand molds for suitable designs. Cast-steel routes can include machining to finish bores, faces and mounting interfaces. For complex cast components, we can coordinate casting with heat treatment, surface finishing and specified inspection, then match the route to the part and application.
Sand-cast housings, manifolds, machine bases and other custom shapes.
Mold and core planning, including 3D-printed sand molds.
Resin-bonded, coated-sand, shell and automated molding options.
Coordinate machining, heat treatment and finishing as specified.
Patterns, cores and printed molds provide different ways to form the casting cavity.
A pattern forms the cavity in the sand mold that receives the molten metal.
Separate sand cores create internal channels or hollow areas in a casting.
Printed molds make selected complex geometry without a conventional pattern.
Sand molds can be used with different cast-metal families; alloy choice should suit the part’s service needs.
A ferrous casting option for components designed around steel properties and cast geometry.
Lower density can help reduce component mass when the application permits.
AMES-CAST-01 lists cast-steel sand casting and 3D-printed sand molds. Material grade and route are matched to the component.
Employee and output figures describe each independent partner profile overall.
